As we prepare for the launch of new services, unifying how our users access the platform becomes really important. That's why we're thrilled to announce our partnership with WorkOS, a leading provider of modern identity and authentication solutions.
What's Changing?
Starting June 1st, 2025, Altostrat will transition its identity management platform to WorkOS.
The most noticeable change for you will be the login URL. Instead of logging in via auth.altostrat.app, you will now be directed to our new, unified authentication portal at:
auth.altostrat.io
When you attempt to log in after June 1st, you will be automatically redirected to this new address. While the login process might look slightly different initially, it will remain straightforward.
Why WorkOS? The Benefits:
This partnership and platform migration bring significant advantages:
- Unified Identity: As Altostrat introduces new products, WorkOS provides a central identity layer. This means you'll eventually be able to use a single set of credentials to securely access all Altostrat services, simplifying your workflow.
- Enhanced Security: WorkOS is built with enterprise-grade security at its core. This move allows us to leverage advanced security features, strengthening the protection of your account and data against modern threats.
- Future-Ready SSO: WorkOS simplifies integration with enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions (like Okta, Azure AD, etc.). While full SSO integration will be rolled out progressively, this platform makes it much easier for organizations to manage user access via their existing identity providers in the future.
- Improved Audit Logging: WorkOS provides robust audit logging capabilities. This gives both Altostrat and our enterprise customers better visibility into authentication events, aiding compliance and security monitoring.
Preparing for the Future:
Our upcoming product launches are designed to offer you a more comprehensive suite of security management tools. A unified and secure identity platform like WorkOS is a critical foundation for delivering these new services seamlessly and securely.
What Do You Need to Do?
For most users, the transition will be smooth.
- If you have bookmarked the old login page (auth.altostrat.app), please update it to auth.altostrat.io after June 1st.
- Be aware that the login page appearance will change slightly.
- Your existing login method (whether email/password or social login like Google/GitHub/Microsoft) will continue to work through the new portal.
We're excited about this partnership with WorkOS and the enhanced security and future capabilities it brings to the Altostrat platform. We believe this move is a vital step in providing you with the best possible experience as we continue to grow.
Should you have any questions regarding this transition, please contact our support team.
