What's Changing?
Starting May 1st, 2025, we will be leveraging the Stripe Customer Portal for subscription management.
When account owners click the "Plans & Billing" link within the Altostrat SDX portal, they will be seamlessly redirected to a secure, Stripe-hosted page. This portal will be the central place to:
- View your current subscription plan and usage.
- Update your billing information and payment methods.
- Download past invoices.
- Manage your tax IDs.
You'll also be able to access this portal directly at any time by visiting billing.altostrat.io.
Why This Change?
- Consolidation for Growth: As Altostrat expands its offerings, centralizing our billing through a dedicated, powerful platform like Stripe is essential. This allows us to manage different products and services efficiently under one umbrella.
- Enhanced User Experience: We're partnering with Stripe to utilize web assets they develop and maintain. This means you'll benefit from Stripe's intuitive, user-friendly interface, which is specifically designed for smooth billing management.
- Security and Reliability: Stripe is a global leader in secure online payments. By using their hosted portal, we leverage their expertise and robust infrastructure, ensuring your billing information is handled with the highest security standards.
Who Is Affected?
This change primarily impacts account owners who manage their subscriptions directly through the Altostrat portal.
If you purchase Altostrat services through one of our valued resellers or channel partners, your billing relationship and processes with them remain unchanged. You do not need to take any action regarding this update.
What Do Account Owners Need to Do?
For most account owners, no immediate action is required. Simply be aware that starting May 1st, managing your billing details will happen within the secure Stripe Customer Portal environment. We recommend bookmarking billing.altostrat.io for easy access.
